Knowcities

The European project Knowcities brings together around thirty cities of the Atlantic coast. Launched in 2008, its aim is to develop an innovative methodology to promote and develop these cities’ access to knowledge economy. Brest métropole océane (Urban community of Brest) and Technopôle Brest-Iroise have thus carried out an assessment of knowledge and innovation on the Brest territory. Developed following a methodology common to all partner territories, this state of the art also relies on the work carried out as part of the metropolitan project “Brest 2025”. The aim is to be able to compare all partner cities of the Knowcities project.
