Technopôle Brest-Iroise supports Vagabond

Last May, the polar sailing boat Vagabond left Brest, its port of registration, for its voyage to Greenland to fulfil its scientific experimentation and observation campaign.

Technopôle Brest-Iroise, the Paul Emile Victor Institute (IPEV) and Océanopolis are all partners to this new expedition.

Eric Brossier and France Pinczon du Sel will be studying walruses and their acoustic communication system for the IPEV, enrich Océanopolis's polar unit and further their knowledge of how the Arctic Ocean functions.
